LionsBot wanted to extend the cleaning time of its premium R12 Rex Scrub and R12 Rex CS machines. The company also aimed to optimize operational efficiency by enabling partial dock charging, which isn’t effectively achievable with AGM lead batteries.
The Trojan battery solution
LionsBot upgraded its R12 Rex machines with the Trojan GC2 36V Lithium-Ion Battery. The Trojan GC2 36V shares the same form factor as traditional lead acid batteries, making it an easy drop-in replacement for AGM batteries. Manufactured with one of the most stable lithium formulas (LFP), the Trojan GC2 36V delivers 45Ah with 4,000 cycles and integrates an advanced BMS that protects against short circuits or overheating.
The outcome
LionsBot R12 Rex Scrub and R12 Rex CS machines now provide 30% more cleaning time (5-6 hours). Additionally, the floor machines now produce highly accurate SOC estimates, and have optimized operational efficiency that includes partial dock charging.
